An International intranet
This case study refers to a multinational company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange. Due to rapid external growth, the company is now characterised not only by different cultures, but also by different ethnic groups, religions and languages.
How was it possible to make the most of these differences, directing them towards a common mission with company objectives in mind?
The answer was found in a new Internal Communication Plan led by a Steering Committee which embodied the professionalism and skills best suited to the project. Starting with some key messages, the most suitable tools were chosen to communicate different messages at different moments.
So a company Intranet was introduced as the main tool, along with other channels such as sms, newsletters, posters, company newspapers, video web casting, etc.
Message was part of the Steering Committee, it supported the client in defining the Internal Communication Plan and it created the different tools.
